5 Years in the Clear…
It’s taken a few days for me to get my head around this and post it, so I apologise for that! I had my annual Testicular Cancer checkup at the beginning of the week, after 5 years you think they’d get easier (they don’t and neither do me and needles!). Actually it was five-and-a-quarter years but I won’t go into that rant about appointments. I know, I know, it’s unusual for me not to go into a rant, but I have good reason…. I won’t be going back! After 5 years in the clear, I’ve officially been discharged from Oncology!

As someone who has had Testicular Cancer I always advise people to check them… And one of the very first posts I made on this blog a couple of years ago was a video that should motivate all men to check them! Unfortunately the video has moved around a lot, and links have broken etc. But I spotted it today on YouTube so thought I’d repost!
Self Examination X-Rated
What! I’m not sure if I find it ridiculous or just plain stupid! YouTube in its infinite wisdom, has decided that the videos I posted last week to my other testicular-cancer.co.uk blog are X-rated! The show Dr Chris Steele, showing you how to examine yourself for breast or testicular-cancer. As someone who has come through testicular cancer, I can’t urge people to check themselves enough (and no that’s not just for the sake of having a good feel!). Here are the videos again:
