It’s all going to come out now!

Well not everything obviously, but a lot more than there previously was! Nearly 3,700 historical UK Security Service files are now on public display after the National Archive made the sixth  realease of files since the full implementation of the Freedom of Information Act in January 2005. Many of the files relate to the Second World War, covering some post-war periods as well. Highlights include the files on the writers George Orwell and Ernst Henri, the American folk archivist Alan Lomax, and the early Soviet defectors Leon Helfland and Grigoriy Besedovskiy.
