Sharing iTunes Music Between Two Users
I really want to get this working (and haven’t had time to play with it yet), the plan I think is to use Apple’s Guide to sharing music between different accounts on a single computer, and make the file location of the iTunes library be on the shared hard drive - it’ll have to be on the SC101 for now, but going forward I don’t see why it shouldn’t live on the all-singing all-dancing RAID 5 file server!
Has anyone done this?
What I want to do is have a consolidated music area for both Emma and I, but that we can both have our own preferences, playlists, podcasts (we’d probably hate most of each others) and ratings (I wouldn’t rate Kylie continually a 5!)?
