Subscribe to Comments
Now I know that I don’t have “THAT” many readers, but I’ve always found it quite nice when I leave a comment on a site, to be notified by email when someone else has replied, whether that be another user engaging in discussion or the site owner!
To this end I went hunting for a subscribe to comments system, and found exactly that in Subscribe to Comments 2.1 as recommended by Derek Punsalan (who also explains a little bit of customisation of the script).
So if you do leave a comment going forward, you should - hopefully - get notified of responses, if you don’t then let me know!

Just because I’m such an avid fan of “beta-testing” stuff let’s try it out for you then ;). It’s indeed a handy feature though to have, makes it a lot easier to keep in track on interesting discussions and for people like me who barely use RSS it’s a great way to find back that blog again they came across but lost the address off, simply check your inbox :).
The subscribe to plugin is one of the first WP plugins I install on a new blog.
Good to see you have it default checked too. It’s one of the few checkboxes I like to see default checked for convenience.
I’d literally not five minutes ago enabled that option, I enabled it as I thought it’s something I’d like to see without thinking about - I dread to think the amount of blogs I’ve commented on and the owner (or other user) has gone on to reply to me and I don’t even know it!!
It worked nicely :), my mail box is being flooded already, hehe.
