I abhor categorisation and will not fit willingly into any type of "box" by choice - it's purely personal but if you start looking at comments for what they say about the commenter rather than what the comment says, it's as bad as not writing for your reader or caring what anyone thinks. I'm not expressing myself properly here. What you say above is the best way to be, and it's what I do when I can, but you've now become a "selfless emoter" rather than just someone called Keiron who likes what someone else wrote on the blog.
