I've been using the old iPhone for about 6 months now. I can say that, yes, the device has its faults, there's a hundred and one little things that bug me about both the hardware and the software. That said, I love the thing!

My main issue is with O2. On the release day of iPhone 2.0 I was unable to get past the upgrade form, as the site just kept going down. Eventually I was told they were out of stock and to keep checking back. Very frustrating when you're being forced into their 18 month contract again just to upgrade. Oh well, I can live without 3G for a little longer. I'm just upgrading the software on my old one (I've been away), I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements.
