		<description>I debated which way I&#039;d go with it when I bought it - but when I sat down and thought about it, I use all open source apps anyway (Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office  etc.) that are all pre-installed on the Eee.

After demonstrating the advanced desktop to my other half, she agreed she&#039;d happily go to linux, if it got easier (which is all it lacks in my opinion), and you could get iTunes for it.

I managed to solve the problem of syncing Thunderbird on my Windows PC with my Pocket PC sometime ago, so the number of reasons not to swap are coming down all the while!</description>

I loves my EeePC. I dumped the Linux though and installed XP instead - far better for my uses.
