Marriage by phone?

An Italian judge has allowed a couple to get married via mobile phone!!! Genius, it had to happen eventually – we only commented the other day that it wouldn’t be long before video mobiles probably allowed this – although I get the feeling it probably won’t be a bit like witness protection in court, with a video screen and a pixelated face! – Much to my disappointment!!

It’s all come about because the Italian embassy have barred the groom from bringing his bride to Italy because of how the wedding took place! He got married over the phone because he feared losing his job in Italy if he left for the weddng, he even had an official Pakistani marriage certificate!!

The even have a wedding video showing other guests celebrating without the happy couple!!
